Yeah - it's perfect. The nature of records is that you are pushing yourself. You can expect to fail or one reason or another with some regularity if you are really pushing. If you aren't at your last week of a phase (i.e. the volume phase) just carry the weight forward (just don't be failing on week 1 or some crap). If it's the final week of a phase. No problems.
I did that a couple of times on bench during my first run through of the 5x5. It happened to me both on the 1x5 and on the 5x5 days. Just use the same weight next week. The program is pretty forgiving of minor miscalculations.

lol, this guy that goes to my university gym at about the same time as I do said to me, "Why do you only ever do squats and bench and barbell rows? You never do any arm work or other excersises. You aren't gonna get good results like that."
