The right to carry should be allowed as the police are just there to take the Stastics and the fact of the crime. They do not want to get shot at, like the rest of us.

Carrying a gun does lower your risks, and that is about all you can do.

Researchers found one more interesting fact that might help explain these disparate murder rates. Gun ownership is much higher in the counties won by Bush than in those won by Gore. Maybe people who have the power to use deadly force to protect themselves and their families are a deterrent to those who would easily and without fear, molest and murder the foolish and
disarmed.

Excellent post. How come the anti-gunners never notice that the places with the most restrictive gun laws have the highest crime rates? Washington D.C. is a perfect example.

Who ever thinks we should not own firearms is in my opinion an igneranus. Do your research, Hitler took guns away from the people.
