Extra calories?

Theme10

New member
Please dont rip my head off here. I am looking for a way to sneak in extra calories. I am eating about 3500 calories a day but want to get to 5000. I have a hard time with eating schedule because I am a shift worker. I work 7 12 hour days and 7 12 hour nights a month. They are not worked 7 in a row but broken up. Working only 14 days a month I can make my calories pretty easy on my days off but when I am switching my body from days to nights it really plays hell on my appetite. I am wondering about a weightgainer of some kind. It may be easier for me if I can sneak in an extra 1500 calories or so by carrying a drink with me day and night. Any thoughts?

P&B jellies, almonds and pistachios are high in good fat and great in the protein department, canned white meat chicken just throw it in a zip lock bag, weight gainer protein shakes/protein bars

yep! eat mixed nuts including almonds thru out the day, they are calorie dense and have protein and omega3 fatty acids

I can set up a plan if you want

Radar I would greatly appreciate help. I really struggle with my calories when I am on nights. That is also bad because my sleep drops down to about 5 hours a day or so. Thanks for the help.

Nuts, peanut butter, extra virgin olive oil.
Avoid the weight gainer shakes. most of them are calories from sugars, not complex carbs, protein, and good fats.

1. Read this thread http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/anabolic-steroids/wanna-get-bigger-check-out-798443.html
This product will be out early next year.

2. Better protein bars Better Protein Bars - No Bake Protein Bars 410 calories per bar

3. Power PB - a bodybuilder's peanut butter.
power butter is peanut butter with 27g protein as opposed to the 7 most PM has. Make the BB above with the power butter and you now have 610 cals per bar and 65 grams of protein per bar.

4. Double dose every protein shake you have. Use half heavy cream and half whole milk.. Add oats and Peanut butter and you have a home made weight gainer shake. But at the least double and or triple dose every protein shake.

5. Nutrition practitioner, Like Need2slin . THese products tkae what you eat and help drive the nutrition into the muscles so you are making better use of everything you eat. I would also consider Gear in this category but only works for protein.

6. Learn to cook everything in advance and learn to pack a good lunch box man. Anabolic kitchen is a good book to help with this.

Have a great new year bro :rose::rose:

Thanks needto. I will be waiting for the new product and will get some when it becomes available. I will also make some bars. I have a wife that loves to cook anyway so I will show those instructions to her so she can hook me up. Happy New Year to you and the rest of EF also.
