Express Mail Service?????

UPS-FEDX-DHL can open your pack without a warrant priority mail I understand they do need a warrant maybe someone here with a legal background would know better.

I was under the impression that the postal service was randomly opening packages...
Even though all domestic packages aren't being screen , I thought therewere being randomly opened
DHL may be a better choice domestically

If you order international, it will 100% pass through customs. Your package will either be:

1)Skipped and not inspected-goes right through.
2)Opened, inspected and cleared - friends have had this happened with early stealth
3)Opened, Inspected and seized - There goes your $$$

Makes sense. In Canada, Canada post can open anything that looks suspicious or they suspect contains illicit goods. Reasonable and probable grounds is not a requisite - only mere suspicion.

this my be a stupid question ,Express Mail Service does it go through customs for checking, also anyone ordered there gear through this service with success, is it safe

EVERYTHING goes thru customs express or not, it is a safer practice

I don't think so.

patriot act allows for the gov't run postal service to open package without notice.
Tis the reason I said this

That is correct. The government does not need a warrant to open mail but only if there exigent circumstances are present. For example, a package that leaks or a "ticking time bomb" package could be opened without a warrant.

Here is an old article covering it.

I went Express Domestic a couple times, and got my package in 2 days each time! Cost a lil more, but I'm impatient! I think $20.-$30 extra dollars is worth not waiting day after day to see if it made it.

That's correct. But.....UPS has several hundred investigators company-wide that actually initiate cases. Fed Ex doesn't devote quite as much to security and with DHL it's all but non-existent.
