We would regularly use recently expired meds legally and legitimately where I used to work. Most meds only decrease in effectiveness. Their are very few drugs that actually go BAD. I would definitely use it as long as it had been stored properly.

if its still unmixed I dont see anything wrong with using it especially if its only expired a few months ago.
