I would like to know what are the more exotic routines for muscle training. like i hurd about a german method and im sure there are lots more. please any info would be appreiciated.

here is one i started to do myself and have gained over 100 pounds of muscle and lost over 50 pounds of fat in 3 weeks...pick the most mass exercizes, im talking the pure power movements...for example for biceps, machine preacher curls, for legs, leq extensions...do one set of each and make sure you dont sweat at all, you may sacrafice muscle..then right after you workout throw in some nitrotech, cell tech, meso-tech, and hydroxy cut and you can increase those gains by %12000...goddam youll be huge...

peace

Charles Poliquin has written about both the GVT and the GBC program. Check his wwebsite to see if he has anything else, about them.

Justin M you must of looked like shit before........ No sweating WTF are you just a total idiot sweating means your burning energy (Fat+Glycogen)..... Core exerciese for power doesn't mean machine preacher curls you dumb f*ck....

Just cause you took an hour away from the buffet and loss some weight doesn't mean shit.........

i dunno everyone looks at me funny when i tell them my training method, but i put on 25lbs of muscle from march to august...naturally, if you wanna know it, PM me cuz i dont wanna get flamed, cuz its not over training (for me at least)

5x5 is freaky. The 4th set really is easier than the 3rd. But going through a routine is adding 1/2 hour to my gym time. 3 more weeks will tell if it works or not.

I'm trying it on everything. Shoulder presses, pullups, rows, curls... going slow as well, almost HIT.
cardio too... 5 sets of 5 paces with a minute's rest in between.

No...1set of 5 paces
than 4,3,2,1

Don't worry u will get to five soon enough....

I can't do cardio anyway...i had knee reconstruction surgery...

No leg workouts for a while....

Did it playing football

Yup...physio 3 times a week...

Need my range of motion back...

Right now i am walking but with a limp...

How does your knee feel now?

Need a brace or are u ok without it?

Sebass67,
Well, its been about a year and half since the surgery. The first month after is the toughest. Regaining the range of motion was kinda tough. I was doing exercises every day to get my range of motion back (not even including what I was doing at physical therapy). I would sit on the floor and try to straighten my leg out so that the back of my knee would touch the floor (incredibly painful but effective). Eventually when I was able to straighten my leg out flat I would elevate my foot with a rolled up towel or something and try to straighten my knee that way (the knee naturally hyperextends by a few degrees). Also to increase the ROM in the other direction I would lay on my back and try to touch my heel to my butt and pull as hard as I could (just using the muscles in my leg, I didn't want to pull with my hands because I was afraid I would break something) and hold in the hold it at the furthest point for as long as I could. This was also incredibly painful but it worked.

Anyways, I'm sure you've been doing some of this stuff in your therapy. I got a knee brace but I never use it (insurance covered the cost). I would use if I ever try playing some contact sports again, but for regular everyday stuff (including lifting) it just collects dust in my closet.

I never really have any problems with my knee. I essentially have my full ROM back. Every once in a while I'll get some pain in the patella. The surgery involved taking a part of the patella tendon (tendon that runs down from the quads across the knee cap to your shin) and was used to recontruct the ACL. This only really bothers me when doing squats or leg extensions even though my doctor told me I should NEVER do (nor should I be able to do) squats again. I've only recently started doing squats again (past month or so) for this reason. If it breaks again I'll have to start all over.

Anyways, good luck with your knee bro.

Whoa...thanx DaCypher

One of the nice things about this kind of surgery is that so many ppl have had it done that it is kinda reassuring because i know i'll be ok soon enough.

I think my surgery was a little different though because my doctor took a tendon from my hamstring and put it in place of my ACL...

I BETTER be squatting when i get back...

To not be able to squat....i just can't even fathom it.

Either way, i gotta go easy on it.

So i guess i have no excuse to be ripped from the waist up and that is exactly what i intend to do.

Sebass67,
Very true man, its a very common surgery. I've heard of the ACL being recontructed from the hamstring. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. I've even heard of people that had their ACL replaced with one from a cadaver, seemed a little too freaky to me, but it probably helps recovery time.

Yea, don't push your knee too hard, reinjuring it would not be fun. I also think my doctor was just being a bit over protective by telling me not to squat because I know a guy that squats in the 500s after having a surgery similar to mine. Since you didn't have your patella messed with I'm sure you will be more than OK to squat once your knee heals a bit.

I hope to play next football season...

Basically what this means is when my knee heals up i am gonna work the freakin crap out of it. I want to be big and fast. So i am gonna need some quick feet.

Hopefully, i will be faster than i was before i injured it.

My goal....270...with 19" guns and some quick powerful legs to boot.

Right now...243(lost 15 pds after surgery)...was 256...

16.5 inch arms...lots of work there

But hey, iam 19...and i can do that kind of crap if i work my ass off hard enough.
