Everything comes in "Three's"

Seems Im just sitting back waiting now, preparing for the "three".

First the horrible news about my godchild having a seizure.. still unknown as to why. Then yesterday I get a call telling me that my grandmother has been rushed to the hospital because she had a stroke. With in the course of 3days I have felt like someones ripped my heart straight out of my chest for the thought of losing either of them would tear my world apart.

She was norespondant and in a coma like state. I spent the most part of my evening in the emergency room with the rest of my family. She was transfered to ICU and finally started to respond about 4:00 but still a little incoherent. I count my blessing as does my entire family that she and my godchild are ok.

I now find myself trying to prepare for another call... etc. Everyday starts out like a normal day you just don't realize how quickly your life can change with out any notice.

Do you find yourself doing this? When slowly things start to rumble around you, that you are just like a sitting duck, waiting for whats next to be thrown your way?

Yes. It can all end tomorrow. My child nearly died in front of my eyes from a freak hemmorhage. I have a friend whose daughter dropped dead at 12 from a hidden heart defect. I could go on and on. That's why I won't put off living for today whenever I can. Sorry sweetie.

Wow biteme... I can only imagine how it must have felt to go thru that with your daughter. Life is definitely too short!

You have to stay positive and not think about all the negatives..
Its hard to do when things like this happen can't go thru the day afraid to answer your phone...

Man sorry to hear about that stuff but u are right.

When I got put into the hospital, 2 other people I know went into the same hospital the same week and both died.

When I got out: 1. My great dane got out and chewed up the neighbor kid. #2: My neighbor got bucked off her horse and was liflited with severe head injuries right in front of my house #3: brotherinlaw had a heart attack @ 42 2weeks ago. There all 3 ok, and thank god neighbors claim they wont be sueing!

So-----let's hope #3 dont come your way. I think it's purely coincedence and I think you'll be ok. I probably shouldn't had posted this.
