By banning it - are you not telling me what to eat? You don't like it - you don't eat it. Someone comes up to you and says, "What do you think of this?" You can say whatever the fuck you want - you start passing laws or protesting so laws are passed banning a food - then your telling me what to eat.

Believing in something is all well and good. Wanting to help animals is all good to - but believing in something is not a good enough argument for taking away peoples choices, when it's as trivial as foie gras.

Ok - so do you think we should legalize hunting whale and dolphin? Or dog/cat? Because there are people here who would say that they want to eat it and that they have a right...

I'm not justifying anything. I choose to fight for what I support at this given moment. You're right, I'm sure that the chicken suffers as well and I try to be as humane as possible when buying eggs. But I feel that force feeding an animal so their liver explodes inside of them, their beaks break off, they cannot walk, and die on their own vomit, is a bit different.

Stop criticizing and judging what I want to do. What do you fight for? What have YOU done... focus on that, please.

I am excited for this so keep trying to bring me down... won't work.

P.S. Do you know who makes your clothes, jewelry, etc? It never ends, yeah?

LOL, I don't give a shit what you fight for... thats your choice sugar. But i think only a hypocrite would fight for one cause and then turn around and eat another animal that has also suffered. Have you read up on cattle farm's... how about dairy farms. When was your last steak? Oh how about fish... is it not cruel how they are stocked in a pond only for slaughter.

I am not trying to bring you down... you constantly put yourself in this type of situation. Kudo's to you for having a cause to fight for. Now, why don't you fight for all causes... you alone could save a few hundred unfertilized eggs a year right? Quite a few chickens and a calf or two... on and couple dozen fish I am sure.

I don't eat beef or pork. And I am desparately trying to cut out my chicken and fish products but being raised eating meat, it is difficult. I have come quite a ways, though. I rarely eat chicken anymore.

But it never ends, does it? It can't... so I fight for something one thing at a time.. just how I continue to try to fight for my good friend Marijo who has wagny.org, and other things i support.. I cannot fight for all. And I am not being a hypocrite because I am not eating Foie Gras. Now, if I were to go to a chicken protest, then I would be.. because I eat chicken (even tho I'm trying not to and I will get there one day soon)...

i think its disgusting actually, but who am I to judge another when I eat deer, cattle, pig, chickens...

LOL... you still are allowing the slaughter of one animal and protesting the slaughter of another... and thats really not all that bad... its when you sit here and belittle those whom don't agree with you. So what if i were to eat Foie Gras but didn't eat chicken or eggs... would that make you any better than me? Both of us are killing an animal for our own consumption.

Oh, and world hunger... I feed myself and my family... any means necessary .... Duck, cow, chicken, deer, fish... we gonna eat
