Weekend? Are your clients local?

My new boss was the person who used to sit beside me and believed in face/time. Given the recent revelation in pay scales and my tenure at the company, I figure that if I go, I'm good for the rest of the year and will go contracting like the others.

I don't work on the weekend, but I just say weekend because I am working Fri and Mon it feels like a 4 day weekend which is pretty sweet. I can sleep in an extra hour and roll out of bed and to the computer with no makeup and dress clothes. I don't have clients. I do books for our properties. We manage apartments so I do the financials on 8 of those properties.

No I don't have my CPA. Actually none of the accountants here do besides my boss. She is super smart she was going to be a doctor, but then changed her mind and went into accounting instead.

Yeah but I have a tshirt on too.

Well it used to be a pretty good size, but a lot of them have been sold off because they weren't doing so good. We only have about 50 properties right now.

well that's this morning for me. it's 8:20 and i'm usually either at work or well on my way by this time and here i sit on my living room floor, hair wet, no makeup - not even close to getting out the door. And I've been awake since 6:30. I dont like to be rushed in the mornings lol. Luckily I have direct reports at work who can hold down the ship until I arrive on the scene. gotta love trust individiuals like that.

LOL When I had to go into the office, I HAD to be there. But it was nice that after just a few weeks of tightening up the ship I was late for work one day. It was actually FUNNY that all my employees were sitting at their desks actually WORKING by the time I got there!!!



Since I've been home I don't even take a shower till like 2PM <--- that shit has to stop. I got too much to do but I just get bogged down by the negative nancy in my head.
