The index finger on my right hand (my mouse clicking finger) is frequently losing circulation and it's happening more and more lately. From the top knuckle up to the tip of the finger, turns white, feels stiff and gets partially numb and often gets/stays very cold as well. I suspect this is a tendon issue that is causing some inflammation and thereby cutting off circulation up in the tip of that finger but it seems odd only this finger, none of the others. but again this is my mouse finger, i use it for scrolling clicking and throughout the dayi can feel fatigue at the point on the top of my wrist where the tendons for your fingers branch out. i spend the entire day on the computer for work, and as you know I sit in front of my laptop when Im at home too. so pretty much constant repititious motion.

anyone else had anything similar? this is annoying. it's more a nuisance than painful. not sure it's something Id see a Dr. about.

sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome. do you use a wrist rest when you're on the computer?

no
thing is, i dont have any pain associated with it/
carpal tunnel can be non-painful?

i just realized
it happens mostly when Im at home
and i sit at my laptop which is on my coffee table
i sit in front of said coffee table and the top of table is above chest height
so hand is higher than my chest so to speak - slightly
and my wrist sits on the edge of the coffe table when Im using the mouse
so perhaps its cutting into my circulation that way
dont know

Yeah I have this happen sometimes. My whole hand in general will be cold and numb feeling though. It is my mouse hand and I think its because of my chair being lower than my computer desk and the way my arm is placed.

Try changing positions for a couple of days. If its still a problem, go to the doc.

it's the dreaded "rodent finger", similar to carp tunnel, but less painful. Just use 4ius GH ed, that way all the rest will go numb and hurt too and you won't notice it as much....

I knew there'd be at least one fingerblast post in here. I have an issuse with my right hand. I think it's from using my mouse.

so here's a pic, although this doesnt really look as dramatic in the pic as it does IRL but if you look closely, you'll see the tip of my index finger whiter than the other fingers
