Do not use this board to do your research, go to gearpictures.com look at the stuff, familiarize yourself with it. If you do, you will not need to ask for sources, you'll be able to tell real from fake on your own. Makav is hinting hard, but his advice was good for me. Since we don't know who you are, you could be a bit cavalier about it. BTW, I am in Rosarito at the moment, I spent a week looking for legit sources that were not trying to screw me. I actually printed out photos from other sites, and slapped them on the counter where I could see them and the guy could tell I was not full of shit. (I was a first timer, so I put up the educated front and they gave me good high quality human gear)
If you look like a meathead, the customs guys will pull you over. It is one person's stupidity that puts everyone at risk so:
- do your homework to spot fakes
- don't look like a meathead cruisin for aas
- no cowboy shit, be kind, friendly, curtious
- don't buy a lot on your first trip until you know your gear is real, return/repeat customers (if you hint that you'll be a regular) will motivate them to be more on the level with you
- if this is a first cycle, and you never really hit the gym full time, they can give you a placebo and just becuase gear motivates you to lift, you can show natural gains. you may be dumb enough to believe it was the juice. (again, I don't know if you are some high scool student or an experienced lifter)
- For Christ's sake, be safe. Stay in ther main roads, there will be as many legit as fake. Avoid thi super discount ones with guys in lab coats.
- Carpool, use that lane to get to the border faster, it took me under 45 minutes with my two buddies to get out of a VERY crowded border crossing on a holiday weekend recently.
