Ever been to Tijuana?

Now I'm not saying that you can't establish a rapport with a drug-store there on that street. As people have posted here, you can do that. But that area of town is too hyper for me, so I'll go elsewhere. Except of course, when I want to see a good quality strip show in the Zona Norte.

Yup, China Garden somthing...can't remember the name, has a shower near the stage, hot shit!

Do not use this board to do your research, go to gearpictures.com look at the stuff, familiarize yourself with it. If you do, you will not need to ask for sources, you'll be able to tell real from fake on your own. Makav is hinting hard, but his advice was good for me. Since we don't know who you are, you could be a bit cavalier about it. BTW, I am in Rosarito at the moment, I spent a week looking for legit sources that were not trying to screw me. I actually printed out photos from other sites, and slapped them on the counter where I could see them and the guy could tell I was not full of shit. (I was a first timer, so I put up the educated front and they gave me good high quality human gear)

If you look like a meathead, the customs guys will pull you over. It is one person's stupidity that puts everyone at risk so:

  1. do your homework to spot fakes
  2. don't look like a meathead cruisin for aas
  3. no cowboy shit, be kind, friendly, curtious
  4. don't buy a lot on your first trip until you know your gear is real, return/repeat customers (if you hint that you'll be a regular) will motivate them to be more on the level with you
  5. if this is a first cycle, and you never really hit the gym full time, they can give you a placebo and just becuase gear motivates you to lift, you can show natural gains. you may be dumb enough to believe it was the juice. (again, I don't know if you are some high scool student or an experienced lifter)
  6. For Christ's sake, be safe. Stay in ther main roads, there will be as many legit as fake. Avoid thi super discount ones with guys in lab coats.
  7. Carpool, use that lane to get to the border faster, it took me under 45 minutes with my two buddies to get out of a VERY crowded border crossing on a holiday weekend recently.

Good to hear from you bro and glad I could help out. I agree with this statement... ;)

I would take the "Garita de Otay" which alot of ppl don't know about. Alot of the
truckers use this and it doesn't get as packed as the "main" entrance.

just buy domestic. waht's wrong with u guys??

I'll speak for myself when I say that buying domestic through the mail is too spooky for someone like me. Hookin up with a dealer is not really an option for me either, as I look less like a Mr.Olympia contestant and more like a Fed. When I used to buy weed at Dolores Park in San Francisco the dealers used to pat me down and check me for a wire. Not always though, just once in awhile.

Best option is to fly to mexico and bring it back. No one ever expects gearheads to make some long-ass flight to mexico to buy drugs. Their only concern is marijuana, etc. That would be my advice.

Risks vs benefits. It'll cost you more -- but the risk greatly diminishes. (oh and buy a year's supply while you're at it).

Remember -- EVERYTHING you do becomes a game of whatever it takes to LOWER your risk overall. Doing the walking through the border in tijuana by yourself, wearing a wifebeater, baggy pants, carrying nothing puts you at the HIGH END of the risk meter. Try to find methods that put you at the LOWER end of the risk meter.

It's all about probabilities. Feds know how 80% of bodybuilders get their gear. That's where they'll concentrate on. They could care less about the 20% that go under the radar. It's considered an acceptable escape rate. Nothing can be 100% stopped. So concentrate on being in that 20% category.
