Many of the cab drivers will take you straight to the best place to get fakes.

Good point, as some of the drivers get kickbacks. Note: the best dressed and most offical looking cab drivers work for Yellow Cab. They're the ones who wear badges with their picture on it. They are also the most corrupt, and will steer you away from where you wanta go into the direction of a merchant who they have arranged a kickback with.

I take the green or silver cabs. The white cabs, "Taxi Libre," can be kinda dicey at times. Other times they're o.k.

bro best bet to save money is to go to the small towns

Not only to save money, but to avoid being caught in a sting. Sometimes a pharm on Revolucion will call the cops on you as soon as you leave the store. That's happened alot, right there on Revo. Ave. That street is teeming with cops, so the dynamics for a sting are all in place. Not only that, but the police station is right off of Revolucion on what, 6th or 7th Avenue? Revoulucion Avenue is also a good place to get mugged...*IF* your the type who looks muggable. The muggings usually occur on the side streets of Revo, where the muggers will pop out of an alleyway.

Revolucion Ave is the noisiest, craziest street in TJ. Not gangster crazy, just crazy in an annoying sense. Lot's of beggars, trans-sexuals, loud music, wide-eyed tourists, and the ever annoying barkers ever 10 feet who try to beckon you into a club. Those idiots are a royal pain in the ass. They often speak excellent english and theres a reason for that. They once lived in America and are now fugitives from our justice system.

I've bought roids on that street before, but not anymore. With all of this talk about vet labs, I don't know why everyone just doesn't get into a cab and head to the dog-track near Agua Caliente Blvd. Seems like you'd have more of a selection out there. Last I heard there was a few good vet-gear supply houses out there. Plus, alot less policia, if any.

Soooo fucking true. I can get gear at half the price outside the "centro" than there. I recomend you go to the website of the Brand of gear your going to buy to find a authorized "granero" if you plan on looking for stuff on "Revolucion" besides there is a nice "KFC" near buy......

Alot of Americans are ignorant to the ways of Tijuana. But then I would be too if I just set foot in China for the first time. Most tourists/gear-seekers always head to Avenida Revolucion. And you know what? The residents of that area all know that. As do the merchants, the Chicklet-selling homeless people, and the cops. That's too big a spotlight for me.

Now I'm not saying that you can't establish a rapport with a drug-store there on that street. As people have posted here, you can do that. But that area of town is too hyper for me, so I'll go elsewhere. Except of course, when I want to see a good quality strip show in the Zona Norte.

Alot of people get the idea that TJ is a little town. Hey, it's got over a million people living there. Having said that, I'm not gonna limit myself to one little quarter mile or so strip of street there on Revolucion. Too many options....

Wanted info on tijuana pharmacies. Is gear easy to obtain there? Is it real? ect? Please let me know about any first hand experiences there.

When I used to frequent TJ for my supps, I built a solid relationship with the owner of a granero. The more I went the lower the prices got. At the end I was getting stuff extremely cheap. He's a business man. His business is made for American BB's. It shows on his card how to get there from San Diego. There's no way he's setting anyone up to get their shit ganked by the policia. No doubt it happens, but not by the smart businessmen there.

,sure......mule, oh yea thats what I wanted to be when i grew up. As for the cops just be polite and try not looking at them in the eye. I don't stand out as much as a 6' 4" 265 lb white guy with blue eyes, but i do get hassled by taxi drivers trying to take you to the best places to buy gear, besides it throws them off when I speak spanish and then realize I'm a "paisa".
