saddam didnt have security measures, he had measures of hostility and aggression towards the US and its allies, so we operated in our best interest to take out a threat before it is too late.

iraq, iran, sudan, israel, etc doesnt owe the US any explanation how they protect their people. however, they do owe the US an explanation when they start financing, protecting, training, and harboring groups bent on the destruction of the US and its allies.

Dude... of course Russia doesn't "owe" the EU anything. But nor is the EU seeking to judge or condemn Russia in any way.

This is the same as you hearing through mutual friends that one of your bros had something bad happen to him. But you decide you're going to reserve judgment until you get his side of the story. Then you call him and go "dude, what happened."

EU is just interested in what happened so that it can be better prevented not only for russia but all EU members. Hence the "talks of joint anti-terrorism force" at the bottom.

You really need to stop getting your panties in a bunch every time it looks like an international body is trying to exert some influence.
