It's one of the weakest aromatase inhibitors but that's not the point. Your question is about E and gains. If it only inhibits 59% there is PLENTY left over, whether you like it or not, for any gains you'd need from Estrogen. But you don't so who cares.

Estrogen is more detremental in my opinion that beneficial. When i have too much estro on cycle, i get fat, bloated, feel like petrified horse shit......i prefer estro free cycles, or as little as possible.

how did this happen? said:Hello all. I have a question for those who know a good deal about this. I have read countless forums and articles online, only to get different answers.
I am getting ready to start my cycle in a weel or 2 and was worried about certain side effects. The poster Galaxy has been very helpful. My question has to do with estrogen. I have read about using arimidex and nolva. One stops it in it's tracks, the other does so, but differently. I know that arimidex will halt estrogen production for the length of the cycle. However, I read differing views. Some say that estrogen is needed for the massive gains and strength for a cycle. Others state that arimidex will do nothing more that stop gyno and the normal results will occur.
If I take arimidex throughout, I don't have to worry about gyno or getting nolva, but will my gains be hampered by it? I'm not worried about water as much as gyno, so would it just be better to have some nolva on hand and wait for the gyno to start?
I don't want to hampre my gains, and from some things I have read, stopping estrogen will do this. And then others say stopping estrogen doesn't hurt gains or strength whatsoever. Which is it?
Thanks

The list of side effects of anastrazole, and other aromatase inhibitors keeps growing. They fuck up your lipids for one, and my understanding is there is phase IV data coming out from Breast CA patients (their legitimate use) of some other serious consequences. My advice is to not touch anything with the word "zole" in it unless you have a yeast infection and "cottage cheese" vaginal discharge. Since you are on this forum, I assume this, and HOPE this, isn't the case.
Just get yourself some tamoxifen (nolva) on hand, and do it up at 20 mg qd if you have sx of burning nipples, enlarging nipples, sensitive nipples. While having sensitive nipples, etc.
Anastrazole will keep you leaner in the sense of decreasing anasarca (edema) your body may carry, but lets be honest, it doesn't fucking matter cause its only 12 weeksor 10 weeks and if you are worried about water weight, then maybe the bloating, itching, and lower pelvic cramping, you might want to get prozac for PMS. Just my 0.02.
