eq? over rated

thought i'd just give you guys an update on my latest cycle... in week 10 of test e 600/w eq 600/w. not that impressed if im honest. gear is def legit , getting good pumps and eating loads inc over 300 g protein. put on approx 14pounds but i'd say 6 of that is water. strength gone up a bit but i seem to have ground to a halt... think i'll go for cyp and deca next time, had better results on them but wanted to see what all the fuss with eq was about...
imo eq well over rated
 
eq has always given me around 10 lbs of good lean muscle, but then again, i'm not one for mass..now i'm trying out primo :)
 
eq has done little for me. i'm taking test/eq so not sure the gains i get are from test or eq. i will assume test.

dbol is kicking ass tho! :)
 
eq is weak androgen, about the strength of primo, little estrogen formation to increase growth, etc. It is what it is. It is your mind that needs the right opinion, the right expectation, not the eq. The eq is fine. You see what I mean?

If you want to look like a human rock, try test/deca/dbol and heavy, heavy lifting. If you want the calvin kline look, then eq/primo/var are nice tools.
 
Maybe it was your expectations that were overrated, not EQ. I would call 1 lb per week on EQ stellar....not so much with 600mg Test but that still leaves your training and gear quality as variables.

yeah i really started noticing the body change from eq around week 9..

and it's not a bulker per se, but i use it now with deca for lean bulking
 
Water is from the test. But I think EQ has little benefit besides stimulating that "false hunger" feeling. But when you are getting up in weight and it becomes harder to stomach more food, EQ is a godsend.

im not saying this has been a disaster but that i thought i would have gotten more. my diet has been good and ive been training my arse off going really heavy. All my lifts have gone up but not as much as i hoped. i would have thought the test alone would have given me better strength gains than this. as i said, not a disaster, just not quiter as good as i hoped

dunno how far you are into your cycle but if its only a few weeks, i'd change the eq to deca... you know your gonna get the results from that. just my opinion though.

the 6 lbs is a guess, probably 2 or 3 pounds of fat as well.. my abs arent as tight as they were but i expected thaty as im bulking and eating to gain weight

gear is british dragon, source is 100% reliable as far as im concerned and it definately aint down to lack of intense workouts.... as you say, the test alone should give a pound a week.... the only other thing that might have a bearing on it is the fact that i started a new job 2 weeks into the course with loads of training and exams which have been stressing me out big time...just a theory though
 
i've run eq twice at 1000mg weekly both times. worked well, but its a pretty big dose of eq.

the first time was it with 500mg of test weekly and 30mg of var daily and a bunch of clen. I just about went balistic several times. between the anxiety and shaking, not good. I was dieting and got vascular as fuck though -- i had several visible veins everywhere, even lower abs. I was expecting to add at least a bit of mass at 1.8 g's of gear per week and 360 grams of protein per day though. i did keep all my lean mass though i think.

who knows though, maybe shouldn't have relied on gear.

second time was 1000mg eq weekly, 125 mg test weekly, 50mg dbol daily. gained good off that. 8 weeks and up 23 pounds.

anxiety wasn't too bad second time around.


i like to try running big doses of drugs other than test. next go is gonna be 1000gram of deca and 250mg of test, with 1mg of cabaser twice a week.

i like it .. if i ever use test again, it will only be a maint dose of around 75-125mg/week ..
 
It's not so much that things get overrated (well maybe they do), but people on here want to take the least amount of a drug possible, with the least amount of sides, and still be able to get at least some sort of gains. This is why things like eq and primo are so popular on these boards. People ask the same question all the time... "what can I take with no sides, to get 10-15lbs of lean muscle mass with no water, and get ripped?" :rolleyes:
