EQ and Test

My husband is doing a cycle of EQ and Test. I am injecting him in the flutes and either later on that day or the next day he is in so much pain he can barely walk. We got some advice from his body builder friend to vent the bottles in boiling water (stick the needle in the top) he said maybe the alcohol needs to burn off. We did that last night and today is the worst pain so far. There is hardening at the injection site and it's warm to the touch. He's about 4 weeks in and we have a long way to go. Someone please help. Any advice you can give is welcome. This is his 3rd cycle in 2 years and the first time he has used EQ. Nothing has hurt like this stuff does.

Thank you

Sounds like the product is not sterile and he now has an infection. if the injection site gets worse he needs to go see a doctor asap and spill the beans. Doesnt have anything to do with EQ, per se.

EQ usually is painless for me. try warming the syringe before shooting next time using a hair dryer, Mix the EQ with the test if you're not doing so.after injecting massage the area with a hot wash cloth for several minutes, this helps break up the oil.

I've read several posts on the Internet from people saying they have the same problems with the same stuff. His friend doesn't feel any pain at all and they are doing the same stuff. Everything we use is sterile, were very careful about that. The pain lasts for about a week and then it's time for the next shot. I was just wondering if anyone with more experience had any pointers. Heating it up or taking longer to inject it is also something I have read. This last time after we "vented" the bottles made the pain worse

The only other advice i can offer is to inject before working out into the muscle that is to be worked that day. Getting the blood flowing into that area seems to lessen the pain.

The warm to the touch suggests an infection. Sounds like you got some unsterile gear or did not clean the site properly with alcohol, used a dirty needle etc.

You can play it safe and go to the doc, or you can let the infection get worse and end up having an abscess cut out of his ass in surgery.

Good advices. If it is an infection some antibiotics may clear it up quickly before it abscesses and requires it to be lanced and drained. It does sound like an infection to me.

Don dont worry about legality of telling the doc about roid use as they are bound by doctor/patient confidentiality laws

its glute muscle not flute muscle first off. not sure if that was a typo but it is important to get the muscle correct when researching online. there is no flute muscle. glute muscle is above your buttox. when your hubbie flexes his butt you should feel it.

what happened is you did not inject into his muscle and it wasn't sterile. you may have injected into butt fat sounds like. so you have a non sterile abscess which is the lump you are feeling. the oil needs to go into the muscle. did u clean and use wipes in the area before injecting? did u draw then swap out needles before injecting? and are you SURE you injected into muscle and not fat?

you never said what size needle you are using, i hope you didn't use a slin pin. and a lot of times with the glutes if your hubbie is a big boy you need a 1 1/2 incher, 1 inch and its easy to whiff on the glute muscle.

since its warm to the touch you likely have yourself an infection as said above, its treatable with anti-biotics so no worries... your hubbie sounds like a newb and i always recommend using 1 type of AAS for newbs for this reason. and use a long ester which doesn't require frequent injections. this way you have a better chance of avoiding mistakes.

the hubbie should learn how to inject himself and not depend on someone else. and i recommend a newb hit deltoids, they are easy to inject and you can see what you are doing, or go into the pecs which are easy as well. he can even use some ice to numb the top of the skin

^^^^^ someones been doing this awhile lol. Take everything said here and do it. Spot on on every point he made.

I'd go with glutes or quads or ventrogluteal over chest. Esp for a noob.

Does sound like a mild infection if it's warm. What ester is the test? Is it sustanon? Propionate? Enanthate? Cypionate?

I wouldn't use that brand of gear again. Take some good, clear pictures of the bottles and make a thread over in the pictures of gear forum. Let's see what they are (don't name the lab here) and see if there's any feedback on them.
