enanthate to cypionate?

okay, so i am a little frustrated right now. i am in the middle of a cycle of test enanthate 500mg/week, but i am only able to get test cypionate 200mg/ml from my source right now. i know i know, i should have gotten all my materials before hand, but lack of supply on my sources part didnt allow for that, and now all he has is test cypionate.

so my question is will there be any problem switching from enanthate to cypionate in the middle of my cycle? they both have about the same release time, so i cant see there being much of a problem unless using a different chemical will cause some unforseen problem that im overlooking?

any info is greatly appreciated.

I know plenty of people who have done that. I think its fine. from what Ive read, chemically they are almost identicle. hopefully someone else will chime in. I dont think its a prob though.

its atomic structure is one molecule you won't be able to tell the difference.

i never understood the difference between cyp and enan. who the hell understands what "one molecule" actually means? this board is full of juicers, not chemistry majors. :o all i know is you dont have to inject as much as prop with cyp and/or enan.

From what I've read, Cyp is closer to our own body's test? is that accurate? that one molecule makes that little difference?

I'm thinkin so. I have HRT Pharm test and it's Cypionate.

nice!
hey bro you're always naked?
I'm always naked at home too, and usually hanging a dumbell from my cawk.

I could be wrong but I believe that the majority of test perscriptions in the US get filled with Cyp. for the 8 weeks I spent on cruise, I used 150mg of Enanthate wk. then I ran out and switched to 250mg of sust every other week. I found the sust left me feeling alot more even feeling and energetic. For the entire 2 wks. Too bad its not used in the US clinically.

This cyp/enanthate thing.. it's all in your head. Lol. And if all you know is that you have to use more prop than enanthate/cyp, maybe a little chemistry education from this board may help.

The only thing the ester attached to testosterone does is determine the half-life by altering the ratio of water solubility to oil solubility.

When you inject oil based testosterone, in a matter of hours it disperses through your adipose tissue (body fat) because it is mostly oil soluble. A small fraction of it will enter your bloodstream (because it is slightly water soluble). Once in your bloodstream, esterase enzymes remove the ester, leaving the base testosterone which is chemically identical to your natural testosterone.

The base testosterone is now free in your blood to either:

1.) Attach to androgen receptors to cause gains and sides
2.) Aromatize to estrogen
3.) Convert to DHT
4.) Make it all the way to the liver where it will be deactivated.

When the liver deactivates free testosterone, this lowers the concentration in the blood so the adipose tissue gives up a little more esterified gear to the bloodstream to keep the balance and the cycle starts all over again.

This is true of any esterified testosterone (or other AAS) you use. Although other AAS may not convert to estrogen or DHT depending on the compound.

sust is generically available. You have to get your doc to have it compounded for you. I don't use it but it is an option for me. You probably already know this but I thought I would mention it in case...

I thought it was just a difference in what type of oil suspension it's in. In other words, wouldn't it be possible to find testosterone cypionate containing various forms of testosterone, but still called the same if in cypionate oil? Meaning that the type of suspension oil makes no difference other than how fast absorbed, and how painful?

Cypionate is the ester, not the oil.

The two act almost identical...I doubt you would even notice the switch.

Beautiful explaination, thanks again for the help guys. Pinned my first shot of cyp this morning, then went to the gym and had a beastly workout. Haha lovin life right now
