Shit, I can't see anything good happening out of this situation.
I can. We can learn from it and we can make healthier decisions based upon what we learn. That's the purpose of the discussion boards here on elite - to learn.

Well Mikai, see it my way

There are a lot of younsters in my gym who train seriously (no roids) and guess what? No way they going to get a great body without roids. Sure you can reach a certain level naturally, but to make it to the top, you need "a bit more" then some Sust and Deca. Not so long ago Lee Priest claimed he was using 200 mgr of Deca a week? Yeah right.
It is very simple: the more mass you want the more you have to take.
And for the record natural in my book is....natural. Dont' give me the Cell Tech, the this and that, natural mains some proteine, some vitamins, a bit of iron pills ....

Just my opinion, no one has to agree.

What an utterly ridiculous statment.

silentmethod,

would venture to guess that Jeff and you merely have a different take on what a great body is...

his "idea" of the "great body" is likely one acheiveable only by those with great genetics.. which a lot of people dont have...

while hard work and dedication can take one very far.. genetics (along with a host of other factors) can be very limiting.

perhaps pro or semi-pro body.. would be more acceptable.. to both of you..

JMHO

btw- it is sad about perrin's death.. obviously it is very painful for his family. and it is also understandable that they and others look for someone at fault

but in the end.. it is his fault.. he is responsible.. he knew or should have known the stresses that he was putting on his body could have caused his death.. he and others have been warned time and time again that mixing X and a host of other drugs and DNP could be very dangerous.

btw- the media feeds on death.. it is to be expected that this has them salivating a bit, especially with the recent focus on performance enhancing drugs..

Be this the case, his definition of “great body” and mine are different indeed.

maybe people's genetics in the US are different from those in Europe

In the 20 years that i visit some gyms all over the world (i do train when i am on vavation), i have never seen someone with a great body who was not taking roids. So it must be me having the wrong standards. A great body starts with low bodyfat (for me, no one has to agree). Low bodyfat costs serious size.
You have your opinion, i have mine.

"What an utterly ridiculous statment". No need to say i still disagree.

Barring those whose aspirations rest in the upper levels of competitive bodybuilding, I must reaffirm my assertion. I have seen great bodies. I have seem bodies more glorious than any past or present Mr. O in men and women who have never used drugs. True, they did not resemble the heroic figures propagated in so many comic books; arms of thick steel cable, legs the size of oak tree stumps, a chest that could stop a bullet, and skin as thin as rice paper. No, a great body is not as simple and silly as all that.

Speaking of youth, I have seen great bodies, truly spectacular bodies, on the playing fields of high school. Yes, I have seen great bodies, in sport or otherwise, of young men and women who have never touched steroids.

Indeed, your definition of "great body" and mine differ.

i am not going to argue anymore

so you can answer this for one more time. If it is genetics, then this is probably only possible in the states. Bodies better then any mr Olympia, come on, without any drugs of course....

Maybe it is the food industry in the US (you can laugh with this, but you never know what they put in it, for sure). This is possible since overthere at least 50 % as great genetics while overhere, i don't see any of those all natural great "mr Olympia" beating bodies.

Another option "there are many liars in the BB world".
