Egg Whites....Timeframe

Hey guys,
I am new to the boards and wanted to say "hello" to everyone. I have been serious about fitness for some time. Finally starting to try and make it to the next level. A simple question really. Sometimes I have a very tough week ahead and my cooking time is limited. My solution much of the time is to cook up a whole bunch of stuff on Sunday and toss it in tupperware(sp?) for the week. How long does stuff like egg whites and chicken breasts stay? I eat mostly tuna for fish, right out of the can, but does cooked stuff last long in the tupperware? I know it wont be as good tastewise, but I still want to get my body what it needs. Will I be okay with this idea?

I eat my egg whites fresh after cooking each morning...I think microwaving them after they're cooked would make them really gross (but I've never tried it so what would I know?). I wouldn't let pre-cooked chicken sit in tupperware in the fridge for more than 48 hrs...it may be good a little longer than that, but I'm not sure. If you're constantly pressed for time, you could cook up a bunch of chicken, put it in individual tuppwerware containers, and freeze it--obviously that lasts much longer. Just take them out in the morning to thaw and then pop them in the microwave. You could make easy mini-meals to take to work or wherever by throwing some frozen vegetables in the same container.

A quick, easy thing to do @ home is to keep a tupperware container of raw chicken in marinade (if you want marinade) handy in the fridge (just make sure you pay attention to use-by dates..but if you eat a lot and buy it often it's not a big deal) and that way it's ready to throw on the George Foreman and cook up really quickly. I hate the way stuff gets after it's microwaved, so I try to cook stuff fresh as often as possible.
