EF Website Changes...Your thoughts?

He should minimize the size of the header and footer so that it fits better, without havin to scroll to the right to read the rest of the page.
He should make the forum pages match with the header and footer to give it more pizzazz
He should put the user names into colors too and maybe change the font
other than that i like it
 
I like the changes, especially since I use a Mac. The previous website wouldn't load properly on Apple's Safari web browser. I would have to hit the refresh button after every page load to get it to format properly.

Now that all is working well, I'm sure I'll be posting more often. Look out folks!
 
The navy menu/headline should be silver and navy should be turned into an accent.
The new top doesn't blend with the old bottom well enough.
 
Never like the combination of pairing red and black. Other than the color scheme I think its an improvement over the clunky look prior.
Where is the plat search feature though? not just keyword but the more useful

Well, apparently in making MAC users happy those of us who have PC's have become, generally speaking, thoroughly irritated.

IMO, it looks less professional and more cheesy.

This scrolling left to right crap is enough to make me drop my Plat membership, and that is NO lie. I've been assured it's not permanent, but if it is then my support is not.
 
I use a mac and switched to Opera long ago.

The banner chews up screen space to no benefit. It also looks utterly skanky in red/black and it's the kind of image that draws the attention of passersby. Wholly undesirable. I'd select a disable option were there one.
 
I'm with Vel - it doesn't match the forum. I also don't like the scrolling thing. Since I access Elite from home, I'm not worried about the header being seen, but I can see where it would be a big problem for those of you at work.

didn't know it was there until you mentioned it. it would be nice if it matched the forums, but right now it just looks like a bunch of extra junk on the bottom. they need to get everything to match and clean up the clutter.
 
There's a link to caliberdesigns in the middle of it. I guess they're the ones who came up with it. They have a mention of Elite in their satisfied customer section.
 
What ever they changed has now caused elitefitness to be blocked from work thank fully experpcsupport still works. I am not crazy about the new headers and footers but at least now they fit in the margins.

I've just had a grim thought. What if they are planning to streamline themselves down to being just a steroids and bodybuilding mega-site?

The first thing they'd do is scrap C&C and those crowns that everyone is so happy with would mark members out for termination as C&C junkies. Anyone fat with Karma would be pruned.

NO FUCKING RESPONSE OTHER THAN THE COMPUTER GENERATED RECEIPT. NONE, it's been two days.

Y'know, the web site I belong to log my food is pretty comprehensive, they have message boards, too. They also have an option and you can choose to have the screen look one way or the "old way." WTF, why can't we have something like that? THAT site doesn't even cost $30 a year! This site costs a small fortune, plus how many members buy that bullshit extra karma (which is just site support; NO purpose other than entertainment).

I don't want to be seeing those dumbasses (the dude and chick on the far left, you KNOW that guy is geigh as shit) I don't know at the top of the screen, I don't want to have to use a scroll bar to read an entire post, why is this such a complicated problem to fix???

You know what it is, sheep mentality. They figure "they'll shut up and get used to it eventually." Just like everything else.

Screw that, I'm already looking around ...
