a few things i have learned from this thread.

1. y'all are some skinny bitches
2. I am one ugly motherfucker
3. smurfy is unbelieavably fine
4. a lot of you don't look like i thought you would
5. no one is actually hideous (cept for those that didn't post up pics)
6. Damn I am out of shape.

i met my friends g/f 2 weeks ago they've been dating for almost4years... our whole convo consisted of how attracted she was to me, and how "beautiful" i am...lol... it was flattering but i was getting scared! haha....making me feel like a prince...

I really need to get some newer pics up, or some of my competition pics.

It's interesting to see how we pre-conceive peoples image based upon their persona... and likewise, how we pre-conceive peoples persona based upon their image. Are we programmed this way from society and the media? Or is there a generalization, a truth, behind our doing so?

totally off topic but..

Tell mr. bagwell, that even with acoustic foam (or in this case mattress foam), a LDC mic shouldn't be positioned in a corner. If you perfectly understand the dynamics of phase cancellation, there are cases where it can be used to your advantage. In this case though, leave some (about 1.5 feet) air behind it and put it in front of a dampened wall. It will make his vocals sound much bigger and eliminate any odd phase inconsistencies that can thin out his sound. I would also mount the mic upside down and raise it a bit, for reasons you will inevitably figure out. If this is a professional studio... ignore my previous advice but make sure you aren't paying more than 50 bux/day for it :D

probably a little of both.
most intelligent people are considered "nerdy", and most "nerdy" people don't have long hair or look wild or artistic. At least, thats what we think, although we both know thats not really true.
I don't know what people i've talked to on the phone (like at work) or written to (like on a forum) think I would look like, but I know when i've met them they are surprised for some reason.
there are a few here that have surprised me in the past- PBR for example, looks different from what I thought he'd look like. and soklueles does too.

On a side note.....I just got the new Photoshop CU2 program which I believe replaces photoshop 7 or 8 or 9? (whichever was the last one to come out). Any idea on how to use it...lol

I have no idea...last one I even heard of was CS, which was after 7. I currently use PS7.

You seem to make good pics using it so I am sure you'll master this one as well.
