I burried the cost on a corporate expense account...I didn't pay for it. I just wanted the million karmas so I could hit big. It was just a game.

For the record though, I gave away double that ammount not long after.

So may other people add alot to this board and they were TOTALLY overlooked. That pissed alot of people off. I can understand Pintoca and Sawastea...and I have nothing aginst Stick or Razor, but come on now.

i think me being a member since 00 deems me a candidate on merit---albeit this is a financial issue so I guess that deems me unworthy.

just admit i only pay for platinum (which before this was prety damn good that i supported this site) therefore i wasnt picked
 
i think some of the picks are just plain BS , but the whole chairman thing is totally uncalled for. there are enough mods here to keep shit under control. honestly i think that we can do with a few less mods (lets start with RADAR)
 
Guys I think we have to realize it is all about money and nothing else. The people that are chairmans are either people who have 50 plus posts a day and have no real life outside the boards OR they have so much money a grand is 10 bux to a normal person.


A business man learns a persons weakness and exploits it, they picked these people because the thought they wouls spend a months salary for some people just to surf a internet search board. The people who were not picked because they are not respected or liked it was because the KNEW you would not take the bait.

How you are looked apon or what you contribut to the board means nothing, it is all about money and thats the way it is cause Stone Diesel said so!

also BRR, i think you and the uppers should look into trying to market to the west coast. not too many of us on here and it gets rather lame when we're done with our nightly chores and dinner and all the east coast midwesterners are in bed asleep. not too many foreginers across seas post that much anymore either (sans pintoca)

also i'd like to see a book forum. show and prove that the juicemonkeys and athletes like to read as well.

Dont know who posted the IP, but fuckele posted hammys name more than once just trying to get him riled up. Hammy and Klu dont bother him ONE bit, yet he antagonizes endlessly and this is allowed?

Ok, now it is 1:55am and I’m about to explain to a bunch of angry, grown-ass men. The reasons why neither they, or their buddies, where not picked to be Chairmen of an internet bulletin board… Lets begin:

I would like to start off by apologizing to Jack, and anybody else who’s feelings might have been hurt. That being said…

At the time we made the decision, we sat down and had a list of well over 100+ individuals we felt could make good Chairmen. We had to hand pick the individuals out of that list. I could only speak for the members I had some kind of personal knowledge of. I’m sure Jack and others are just as deserving as or maybe even more deserving than the guys picked. Unfortunately, we run a huge site with many members, and I only have so much time I can devote to being on the forums. In that short time that I can devote to the forums, I have only been able to become familiar with a few of you.

I wish I had more time to become friendly with all of the bors on EF, but I have a life and a son and hobbies… That all takes time.

Nobody on EF gets paid to surf the forums. We all have other responsibilities on the site besides posting… Add that to the fact that every time I login to EF, I have 10-15 new PMs from people asking me for help with something… I have personally logged on to EF and spent 3hrs on PMs alone never even having a chance to check out the forums.

I’m sorry is you were overlooked. We are only human, we have a hard time remembering who is who and what they are about… There is just too many of you here. I will be doing my best to spend more time here getting to know all of you, I hope my time here I can get to know more of you and then have more people in mind to make decisions in the future..

im not bitching. i just think its a lame addition to elitefitness. Even if asked I would have said, no, sorry I wouldnt want to pay to have mod powers, nor would I pay that much.

i've been here many many years and always respected the hierarchy of the mod-member tree.

If we stay on topic and on keep the gloves up. There is no reason to lock anything. If this turn to a shit fest, you can bet it will be locked.

As long you stay on target and try to make real arguments. There wont be any locking going on. There is nothing to be scared of in this thread.

BRR, I have much respect for you, and I always have. I know you see my point. Not sure exactly why I feel that way...maybe it's because you are the only Admin around here with a sense of logic and reason.

I get the feeling you are uneasy about this topic as well.

I can only speak for the list of people that was put in front of us and how we picked them out of that list. How they got on the list... Ask GS, he can tell you.

I will say that current Plat members have preference.
