New member
im planning my summer cycle witch consist of: -fina 75 mg/eod
-winny 75 mg/oed
-t prop 100 mg/oed

So my question is what type of diet can i follow to put on some quality gains while maintaining an already low bf%. Please speify carbs, protein and fat intakes and anything else you feel is important.

thanx

I would stick with a 50 30 20 diet (I think) About 50% protein, 30% carbs, and about 20% fat.

Try and EAT most of your protien and not drink it. Eat lower GI carbs, if you need to eat rice it Wild Rice as it is low gi.

whats wrong with drinking your protien?

There is nothing wrong with having a shake or two a day. However, EATING your protien via FOOD is much better.

You have to eat muscle to make muscle.

Personally, I have one shake post workout and another at midday and thats about it. If I am bulking a may have up to 4 shakes a day, but I am still eating 6-7 protien packed meals.

I had great success last summer, adding some size while staying lean.. Doing exacty like they are reccomending.. I ate mostly lean meats and protien.. the few carbs I had besdies veggies were either pre or post workout.

I was going to do it this summer.. only i got addicted to protien powder doh`

I noticed that I gained more muscle when 200g of protien a day (mainly from tuna) than when I got 350g of protien from shakes, so I'm sure your right, I'd just like to know why. Whey protien is supposed to be the best...

I have read somewhere that protein shakes are ok but if you have too much then you will put on fat. It is higher on the glycemic index than normal protein.......but most protein is lower than most carbs. I would think that the whey is easier digested and therefore, when not needed it will convert to fat where as the tuna or chicken you just ate may take an hour to actually digest and keep your insulin from jolting too far from baseline. Hey eating meats work for me and post workout and a bed time shake work for me.....shrek
