I've just seen it, and enjoyed it. The only thing I feel like saying about this movie is that it was rather brutal, which is largely why I enjoyed it.

I downloaded a copy without subtitles (if you get it off a torrent site, look out for this), and this movie had a lot of Russian dialogue. If it weren't for the female translator who sat next to me, it would have been rather fucked.

The scene in which Viggo Mortensen is made a captain...that was interesting.

These fucking Russians/Ukrainians/Chechens are bleak, ruthless machines.

Very real too. I'm tired of seeing jackie chan's fight it out. Not every mobster is a kung fu expert.

I loved the desperation of the scene. I liked how they used his nakedness to mirror the nakedness of being out numbered and without a weapon in a knife fight.

Great movie. It(along with a History Channel special) Inspired me to write a story w/ the Russian Mafia scene as a backdrop.
