DVD purchases this week

I went a little overboard on DVD's this week. There are so many films that are coming out from now until the end of the year, it's gonna be hell on the pocket book. Not to mention I have to buy the first 20 discs of The Twilight Zone (and will pick up the remaining 26 when their price drops as well), have to buy most of the MGM Midnight Movies (older cheesy sci-fi/horror movies), plus a lot of older catalog titles like Waynes World, Goonies, Willy Wonka etc....it's just overbearing. I want to put a cap on my monthly spending, but it always seems to get out of hand. I'm gonna have to come up with a "purchasing plan" just like a workout/diet, so I can regulate my money.


Anyways, for this week I purchased One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Dark City, Higher Learning, Boyz N The Hood, Snatch, Brazil : The Criterion Collection, and Cube (which is where my sig pics are currently from.)


Maybe I should start doing a weekly reccomendation of a DVD, where I'll write up a short review about the quality of the DVD, special features, synopsis, why I liked it etc...? Would anyone be intrested in this?

Do you know when The Godfather is coming out on DVD? Its killing me.

The Godfather movies will be released as a boxed set on October 9th. You can find it for $69.98 delivered (5-10 day delivery time) at www.deepdiscountdvd.com, but this is a title that I would wait and see what Best Buy is going to offer it for the week of release. They seem to have the same prices as the net on new mainstream titles.

I haven't bought a DVD in a long ass time. My collection is in the 50's right now. I'm gonna have to grab a few next week. Is Snatch any good? I imagine it is, or else you wouldn't have bought it.

I just got in Days of Thunder and The Patriot...The BMG dvd club ripped me off on the days of thunder price, so I'm telling them to screw their membership on thursday

HIGHER LEARNING WAS PRETTY GOOD. IM THE SAME WAY IWTH DVD'S GOTTA HAVE THIS ONE THAT ONE...
