The main thing is to keep mixing it up. I would start with bars and gradually throw in some dbs as well. There is nothing wrong with some machine lifts either. I personally like to do a free weight movement first and then go to the machines to really burn them out. I rarely do an all free weight workout. My favorite machines would have to be the Hammer Strength. Just remember to keep your muscles guessing!
