Dumbell fly

Deak

New member
As far as I know, dumbell fly is a "shape and separation"exercice. So, I was wondering, if I don't have enough mass on my chest, is it worth doing it after I finish the bench press?? Won't it lenghten my recuperation time without helping me?? I mean, if I perform 6 sets of bench press(incline+normal) and I get very sore the next day, will I grow less than if I had done another 3 sets of flyes and if I gotten more sore??
I hope everybody understand the question and thx for the replies.

Flies have nothing to do with shape and separation. As for shape, muscles get bigger or smaller period. They do not change shape. As for separation, that's a matter of removing bodyfat, not the effects of a certain excercise.

Flies are a great way to hit the chest after your compound excercises (bench). Definitely worth doing.
