Once the guy says "You're under arrest" your normal rights go out of the window and you'd better comply. His threats to taze her before that point were out of order.

I wonder what the full circumstances of the incident were?. Was he justified with the amount of force used, i would say no. Producung the taser to her in the car, fair enough she was an unknown risk. However once she opened the door the other cop began to restrain her and she was offering only passive resistence. To taser her now in my opinion was assault/firearms offence, my opinion

It was hardly even passive resistance: she was almost paralyzed with fear and adrenaline. It was justified in that she was technically resisting arrest. It certainly wasn't necessary.

They could have thrown her ass to the ground and wrenched her arms back to put the cuffs on. I'm sure getting slammed to the ground and forceable put into cuffs would have been much easier on the chick.

I've never seen something that makes people so angry and cry harder than being Tasered. It's so sad but I'm with Dial Tone, I can't front it's hilarious. Im from a big city area..the cops dont even carry that shit around here. if someone is resisting arrest, they put you down...hard!....but they are not going to taze a drunk women just because she is taking to long . i rather get slammed to the pavement then fuckin shocked...who knows the permanent damage that crap can do.
