Anyone read any of his books? Thoughts on his suggestions for general health/bodybuilding? I read Optimum Sports Nutrition years ago but haven't read much of his stuff since. 5-10 grams of Vitamin C a day as suggested and I haven't had a sniffle in 10 years. LOL. Could be just a placebo effect or one of the other vitamins/herbs I take. Saw a few of his other books at the store the other day but didn't buy them yet. "The New Power Program: Protocols for Maximum Strength" was one of them.
 
He was actually ahead of his time in many regards. One that comes to mind is liver metabolism.

However, he is kind of "pimping" some products moreso these days.
