Dr. Appt and Blood test

Just came back from the Dr. had flu like symptoms (fever,ache etc) the Dr. did urine test said i have protein in my urine so he sent me to the lab to have a cbc and panel 12 or 12 panel test anyway i have no idea what this is can someone help me out also will the test show the gear and if so will the Dr. report to authorities maybe i am being a little paronoid but just concerned any help will be greatly appreciated. lol urine had protein in it thats interesting and it may just be me not knowing jack shit but i think protein is in your piss when u drink protein shakes or too much protein and then as for the blood test i would have to say yes it would show the gear and i dont think the doctor will report to authorities but then again i dont know and yes thats something to be paranoid about and btw y did u take a urine test for the dam flu?

The urine test was because i have been having some lower backpain and have urinating more than normal so there thinking that i might have a kidney infection thats why he took the original test and saw the protein in the urine so since that came up he sent me for bllod test and another urine test at a lab i did mention that my protein intake is high because of my diet (ie shakes etc.) he said that would not be in my urine anyway starting to get a little worried any other help apprciated.

well im guessing if your a true BB or just big and jacked and the doctor knows what hes doing he can tell your not natural but im pretty sure on most blood test you can see the gear unless you get lucky and find some that doesnt show up on test and i dont know too much but would suggest going to a different doctor and see what he says if ur still sick and no take the blood test to be safe

Panel tests are specific... not general. And they are typically looking for illegal narcotics - not sure gear counts as a narcotic and that's a specific test beyond a 10 or 12 panel... from what I remember in the drug testing career I used to have.

i believe high protein in urine has to do with the kidney, kidney function specifically. I wouldn't really worry about a drug test for steroids at this point.

Patients rights does not allow a doctor to call authorities or inform anyone except the patient about the risk involved with what they might or might not be doing. Same as a catholic priest if you confess to him about something illegal and he informs authorities he can lose his job from the diaosis.(sic) But no need to worry if something is detected only thing the doctor can do is express their concern or ignore it cuz there on it too.

well the protein in the piss could be 1 of 3 things.

1 stress
2 excessive strenuous exercise
3 or bacterial infection of the urinary tract,kidneys or liver.

I can see why he is doing the cbc but why is he doing
12 panel drug test. In a docs term its not a drug test bro its called a chem strip most likely a chem strip 10 not 12

if it is the 10 panel witch I think it is it will test for

protein
glucose
ketones
ero
bilinogen
bilirubin
blood
leukocytes
nitrite
specific gravity

basically just checking to make sure your liver and kidneys are working and there is no infections. Also to see if you have a high fat diet or diabetes.

If you had just come to him with e bit of protein in your piss he would have over looked it but you came in with symptoms so he is covering his own ass by doing the test...

On your consernce of it being a drug test even if it really was a 12 panel drug test a 12 panel drug test test for
Ecstasy (MDMA), Morphine 300ng/mL, THC (marijuana), Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Opiates 2000ng/mL, PCP, Amphetamine, Barbiturates, Benzodiazapines, Methadone, TCA

So no anabolic androgenic steroids is not going to show up on ether test. He would have to run a test just for anabolic androgenic steroids to find anabolic androgenic steroids bro.
Even if a docter knows you are using anabolic androgenic steroids he can not tell the le because you are protected by rights.


I hope I did not bore you with all of this but you asked so I helped. You are cool on the anabolic androgenic steroids thing but I think your liver could be fucked.

It s chemisrty panel where he is looking at your lytes and your LFTS(liver functiion) He has no reason to do a drug screen on you.

he is looking at your BUN and creatinine to see if maybe you are going into renal failure or just dehydrated.

Protine in urine is not d/t to high amounts of protien in your diet. You may be dehydrated and with the lower back pain it seems to be along with your flu like sypmtoms. He is ot testing for gear. I promise you!! your fine.

He is more worried about renal function because of the protien in your urine. fluids can fix that. When your sick it will throw things off like your urine.
