Don't we have some docs on the forum?

you plan on going to med school? thats awesome

books + prep course + lots of ADHD meds.

thats what all my friends did for the GMATs and LSATs :)
all scored really well

only docs on here are Dr. Bermant (plastic surgeon) and i think Dr. Blau (also plastic surgeon)

perhaps there are family/friends of members who are doctors though who might be able to give you insight

My best friend/college roommate became a M.D.

He dropped out of two residency programs including Anesthesiology, but he eventually ended up owning a couple personal injury clinics so all is well.

I am afraid of the test...big time. I am not even a little bit afraid of school. I can learn just fine when I know WHAT to study. I hear this test is just all over the place! :worried:

You already have a 4 year college degree?

Almost. Gotta finish up this year. I still need to take a genetics, biochem...and a few other things because it is a private college(I need to take a Christianity class). I am mostly finished for the pre-med because when I was a chem. major..the classes were about the same as required for med. school.

Congrats!

I remember my buddy registering for a proprietary MCAT test preparation course, butt of course that was years ago.

How much have you been studying?

6 months is plenty of time to study for it. When you get to med school, you'll learn to cover the same amount of material (and in greater detail) in 1 month...

if you dont get in, you can always become a dentist....that's what my buddy did.

he ended up specializing in endo, and should be making ~300k/year

Stefka here...
The LSAT wasn't hard.

The MCAT will take lots of studying.
If you have the money, you should really take a prep course - just to get a refresher in all the bio fun you have forgotten.

if your gonna buy exam prep material, go to

www.studentdoctor.net (my home away from ef)

and go to the mcat forum and see what people think. They have a classifieds section so u might be able to get some used materials for free.

I have already joined that forum. Only been there a couple of weeks. Some ass tried to be an ass to me. I wanted to invite him to THIS forum...just so I could bomb him...
If you are him....sorry. Over here, I heart u.

Wouldn't it be stupid for any law enforcement person or healthcare professional to disclose their ID here (except for when they are advertising their services)?

Yes, if my life was based and focused around my job.

A paramedic is only one of them.
