Here's what happened.
I've always used amps for my injects, except for this one time when I used some brovel from Mexico a couple years back. So, not a ton of experience with vials. I pull the top off the BD Primobol vial and instead of just the top coming off with a little round circle of metal. It comes off with a strip of metal that basically breaks the metal ring that's around the top of the vial. I figure no big deal. So, I know you're supposed to put a little bit of air into the syringe and then insert the needle into the vial and inject the air into the vial and then draw out your liquid. (air into the vial makes it easier to draw out the liquid). Anyway, I was planning on injecting 3-ml of liquid. So, I drew 4-ml/cc of air into the syringe, insert the syringe into the vial and start to depress the plunger just as I'm a hair away from getting all the air into the vial the rubber stopper blows off and Primobol flies everywhere and some gets into my eye. My eye immediately starts to burn like a mother fucker!!! I rinse it out with water for a good 5-min and the thing still burns like crazy. Dry it off and start to rinse it again. Takes another 10-min of constant washing with water for the burning to go away.
The burning finally goes away and everything seems fine now. No burning, no blurry vision, just a little redness.
Anyone ever have something like this happen before?
Is it normal for the metal ring to come off when you pull the top off a BD vials?
