Donating blood when "on"?

We've all heard of the benefits of giving blood, especially lowering red blood cell count, which is abnormally high for most bodybuilders who use androgens. But is such a practice ethical or even moral? Most bloodbanks (not sure if it is all) regard injections of steroids in the same vein (no pun intented) as IV heroin use. Saying yes to the question "have you ever used a needle to inject illegal drugs" would immediately disqualify you for life.

Furthermore, what about the concern that some 5 year old might get the blood of a bodybuilder, full of testosterone, trenbolone and god knows what else, and how will this affect the kid? And what about the concern that your hormone laden blood will be tracked back to you?

Does anyone have any specific information regarding this?

My Dr. gave me a generic scrip to visit a Phlebotomist(sp?) to have a pint of blood drawn and discarded. He said that it's good to do it a few times a year to keep hematecrite levels in range.

I dont think they will let you donate if you have done steriods/ on steriods. That's what I have heard though I could be wrong. I wouldn't donate if I were on. MO

That' why I get blood tests 4X's a year. It's good to get some old blood out and have the body make fresh blood. And yeah, it wouldn;t be right considering you don;t know who the donor will be. To an 80 lb girl it could be dangerous. But to some 175 guy, he'd probably feel better than he ever did in his life.

I was curious about this myself as I usually go every couple months to donate.
They ask if you've ever injected illegal drugs in the past 3 months but I don't think there is anything about orals.

I wonder if the blood would be usable since I'm on Anavar.

I donate at the start of a cycle.. I don't say that i'm on though.. They usually decline my blood because I get tattooed so often and smoke copious amounts of greenery...that affects the labs they run.

You have to remember that your blood could save a life. The hormones have half lives and I doubt any one would get fucked up forever or even notice a difference.

Weird. I thought all the questions were "in the last 3 months".. I have an appointment coming up, so i'll find out.

agreed. if they check it does it put you on some kind of do not donate list?

I'm not talking about donating 2gs of tren/anadrol/test/clen/t3 blood either.

It is incredible the world we are living in. Can yo believe that you need a prescription to draw your own fuckin blood??? Geezus christ!!

Just go to the backyard, pinch your own vein and drain a pint! for God sake!! drink the shit or throw it to the root of a tree or whatever! but needing assistance and even worst, authorization from other humans to do what I wanna do with my own body, is beyond insane.
