Doing too Much Cardio?

My biggest fear with doing carido is doing too much and ultimately burning muscle. I like the size that I am right now but I want to be more ripped and shredded. However, I don't want to do to much and lose size.

What is a good way to accomplish this goal. I was thinking about doing cardio about 3 times a week max for about 20 minutes. Low instensity...just maintaining the reccomended heartrate for my age.

Anyone help with this?
 
From what i have learned on this board, CARDIO is not not most effective means to burn FAT> diet is. But your best bet would be HIIT cardio sessions 3x a week 20 min per session to burn fat and avoid losing muscle.
 
depending on your strength level, get a large tire that you can flip like childs play, then flip it not fast, but methodically and constantly moving for 5 minute periods, a good way to build muscle and get the heart pumping.
