Got bit in the ass today son. By a filthy stinkin dog.

So 3 weeks ago, up in northern MN i was shit hammer wasted. Playing with the neighbor dog. Fucker bit me.

I have had this wound ever since. I clean it with rubbing alc, and put bandaids on with Neosporin it everyday.

Doesn't look or feel infected.

Ery time I put a bandaid on, it gets all waterlogged and shit. Without, it dries out and cracks. Itchy as fuck too.

lol that sucks, one time i was riding my scooter to school in 6th grade and a big white fluffy ass dog ran out the backseat of a car in the driveway, ran next to me on the scooter and bit my leg. i was trying to pedal away but i was too slow

I go into the womans house and i say "ur dog bit me" she says sorry u want a bandiad? Well no shit i do! lol. I then proceed to go to school, I get there and im late, and the funny thing is the day before i got stung by a bee at school. So the teacher asked me "why are u late now, got stung by a bee again?" i said "no just got bit by a dog tho" lolol he sent me home then i got a tetnis shot

bandaids and neo are good to do for the first few days....after that you gotta let shit run it's course otherwise it will take forever to heal

rubbing alcohol isn't good for cleaning wounds...it's probably irritating the shit out of your skin...wash it with soap and water and put neosporin on it (if necessary) and see what happens.

i got attacked by a german shepherd on my paper route when i was like 12...i punched the fucker with my free arm and kicked him with both of my feet and when he let go i jumped on his back and threw his stupid ass in a headlock and chomped down as hard as i could on one of his ears...motherfucker bled like a stuck pig...the owner (one of my customers) finally came out of the house and broke the shit up...retarded fucking dog never even looked at me funny again...i love animals...they're delicious :RADAR
 
You'd have a raging case of cellulitis by 3 weeks if it were going to get infected. Do what digi said and keep it clean, let it scab up, and heal as animal bites and puncture wounds are best managed with secondary intention.

As far as rabies go, dog bites, especially dogs with owners, are not an indication to get all worked up about rabies. First would be to verify the vaccination status of the animal and if unvaccinated and apparently healthy, close observation of the animal for a couple weeks would be appropriate. None of this of course should be considered substitute for an actual examination and assessment by a qualified practitioner. Have someone take a peek at it.

I've had a course of rabies vaccines :( no fun...ridiculous schedule to keep up with

but that was a feral cat that was effin blind and bit me through my shoe, worst luck ever on my end! and the cat for sure had rabies...animal control caught it and sent it's head to UConn


and when chris says cellulitis hes means really puffy fluid retained red swelling
thats completely gross looking
