does squatting wreck the rest of your workout?

i squated today.

i was doing 4x5 and im gunna go back down in weight and go to 4x10 cause today was damn near impossible.

then i powercleaned and my legs feel like they are going to die right now

MM, fuhshizze, I have not squatted in a year. Or deadlifted.
 
i read an article recently stating that you could work solely on GM's and steadily gain on once per month Sq workouts. i always feel tighter and like i can cling to the bench harder when i've been squatting.
 
of course no sq thread would be complete without the string_bean max out pic

lol I mentioned that in his other thread about Powercleans. There is no feeling quite like standing there with that amount of weight over your head. I admit, I roared out loud once.
