Here we are, at a Steroid discussion website, talking about the negatives of MJ, what a laugh. I am curious on why Overgrow gets shut down, but yet................ I've said too much and am burnt on the ideal that this has gone on this long..... First we get all kinds of info that contradicts each other out, then we rule NORML as not a legit source. HMMMMMM.......... who's misinformed...... who wants us to be misinformed?

this is thread is very interesting .. i have a holistic friend ..he wont eat meat,sugar, wont drink booze, hates ciggs near him ..he is an organic vegetarian.. healthiest dude i know .. he says weed isnt bad for u and smokes religiously .. but if u put it in blunt paper he will smack it out your hand .. says blunt paper has the carcinogens in it .. if someone smokes a cigg near him.. he flips out and goes nuts, says it poison

i actually dont like the way pot makes me feel ..it makes me feel lazy and sometimes paraniod .. but i sure dont buy the health issues crap they tryin to sell about it ..death toll facts of liquor and ciggs is there and they still legal .. show me some facts and make me a believer otherwise legalize it already

A doctor would not trade one bad thing for another. Meaning, he wouldn't risk prescribing a medicine that is prone to give cancer to treat cancer. Second, if you all knew whats up, you would know that MJ don't treat cancer, it helps with the appetite and nausea from the effects of Chemotherapy. Which follows Cancer. Now, lets just take this in....

If MJ causes cancer, would I give it to a patient whom I just treated for cancer?

Wow. do you not realize that most all prescribed drugs have risks and sides and that doctors weigh the risks v. the benefits before prescribing the meds.

Doctors suggesting MJ for cancer patients is for the purpose of allowing them to eat after chemo. If the patient can't eat, they can't recover. The immediate risk of death from not being able to keep food down outweighs the more long term risk of cancer. Plus, the risk is not as great as someone who tokes recreationally for their whole lives, because these people are taking it for only a short time.

Yes. It really helped my mom better than any other medicine when she was having chemo. It allowed her to eat much better and sleep. The morphine and chemo made her very sick.

proly nothing worse for your lungs than smoking a blunt
not only do you get all the resign from the weed, but tobacco smoke.
