Does anyone think that eating too "healthy", is actually unhealthy?

yo serb fat and carbs are very important in a bb diet and should never be cut out of the diet to much you need to experiment to find what works for you and THEGAME is defineteley right it is mentally unhealthy to watch your diet too closeley just my 2 cents

I know all of this now, and i am changeing my diet to be a normal persons diet, just slighly healtier, like low or no trans fats and bad carbs. I have been eating over 200-250 grams of protien for over 2 years now. Im deffinatly going to lower that to about 200. recently i have been eating closer to 3-400. After the cycle i will be shooting for 200-250 protien, 150-250 carbs, and 80-100 fat. i will see how this goes.

I know now what to do with my body, i was just seeing if i was the only one with this idea on their mind. Slowly i hope that i can become a normal person and eat a extra value meal of McDonalds without gaining 2%bf.

bro--stay away from the low-carb or no-carb diets--you need the carbs for your body but more importantly your brain--I just started my diet about a week ago and have lost 6 lbs already--most fat and water which is what i want to lose--i take in roughly 240 grams protein and 240 grams carbs and get my fats from flax oil and other essential fatty oils (try and stay under 25 grams of fat per day)--the carbs are all clean carbs like sweet potatoes, whole grain bread, brown rice, oatmeal and other complex carbs. Throw in a lipotropic fat burner with it and do 4-5 days of cardio with lifting in the afternoon. you will see nice results good luck

No, im not talking about low carb only. Im saying that low fat is too. That diet is horrible for your horomones and many other things at only 25g of fat a day. Please read my original post. I believe that restricting your body of any of the three macros is bad. Lowering it to a low/moderate ammount is best. they should all be relatively equal.

Just my .02 cents.

Lets try to play this line by line (or something).

I have been on a diet for the past 2 years, always watching everything i ate to fit into the diet i was on. In these two years, I dont think that i have gotten much better results than if I simply kept from eating complete junk.
You think, but you don't know that. Unless you're lucky with genetics, your results would not have been anywhere near as good.

I know many people, who eat whatever they want and they get fuking big eating 150 grams of protein and only about 3 meals a day, no post workout shake, and most of their calories from fat and carbs.
We all know people like that. Once again, genetics - some guys just luck out.

I have just seen many problems with eating high protien, and low fat or carbs.
It's hard, but we do it for a reason.

Does anyone feel the same as i do.
There are always people who feel like that. You are not alone.

I have been reading manythings about diet high in protien, and how they are bad because they almost always lack fat and carbs, which leads to many physical problems.
Yes, you need at least two macronutrients for your body to function. Protein alone just doesn't cut it. However, the majority of the things that you read are most likely over-exaggarated.

I am strict as hell with every diet that i am on, and the only thing that i think that i have achieved with this, is to slow my metabolism, into no longer being able to eat junk food without gaining a rediculous ammount of fat.

That's where you're wrong. Frequent clean eating only speeds up your metabolism. The "problem" is that you can see fat gain much faster. When you're 15%, two pounds of fat isn't visible. When you're 8%, two pounds of fat make a huge friggin' difference.

Relaying exactly how I feel bro!!!! :(.......it's all good man......just keep busting ass :)

Great thread Serb..........I'll bet many of us thru obsessive dieting/cutting for extended lengths in our pursuit of "perfect" physiques have unknowingly TRASHED our metabolisms!!! I certainly have!!! Its also age along side gentics that play a significant role in recovering from this physical/endocrinological disorder.

I am 30+ so it's become difficult to overcome this........just force yourself to enjoy life (food) once in awhile bro----life's too damn short to sacrifice happiness CONSTANLTY focussing on 1 extra % of bodyfat loss 24/7!!!!

Choosing between 10% and happy and enjoying eating like a slob one day a week verses 9% and obsessing about it 24/7 all day long driving everyone around me and myself NUTS has become an easier choice over the past year and I'm "getting 'fine' with it".

I also believe that the next time I attempt to cut up......I will achieve 8-9% EASIER b/c my body will have acclimated to the shittier eating style beforehand and the dieting will SHOCK my body more effectively fascilitating the fat loss! My opinion anyway! We'll shall see this upcoming spring ;)

When i first started working out 3 years ago, i had no clue what i was doing. I knew how to lift, but i was oblivious on how to eat. I basically just kept my diet the same and added more protien to it. I immediatly began taking cell tech, and eating junk and protien. My meals comprised of stuffing myself full of wendys tripple and quadruple stack supersized meals, with a non diet coke. I went from 155 to 173 (168 after water left), at about 12% bf . I stoped the cell tech and kept eating the same way, and without any cardio, i dropped some fat and got down to . Later i skrewed my metabolism by going on a no carb diet and living off of energy pills. Ever since then, i have not been able to eat normal, nor did i want to because i thought that eating healthy for the rest of my life was what i was supposed to do. Now i realize that you cannot live like that, and i will adjust my body to work normal again, eating psudo-healthy and training hardcore.

I just keep wondering if all the high protine eating I'm doing will make me more suceptable to kidney stones.... where was my water again.... :D?

to me everyone, including myself has an eating disorder and self esteem problems. Why do we do diet so hard? Why do we use AAS? Why do we post of this stupid board? Its a very complicated situation that all of us face. I remember when i was a skinny 175lb kid and how happy i was. I would take off my shirt anytime, anywhere and eat basically anything. Now i constantly feel that one day I am fat, or one day I am too skinny. Its a disease, no matter what way u guys look at it. Being AAS free this year has taught me alot about myself. Just my thoughts...
