doc caught me on bloodwork

Doc was going through results of bloodwork and everything was normal except RBC 5.98 (normal 4.4-5.9) Hemoglobin 17.6 (12-16) Hematocrit 53.4 (40-52). He caught me off gaurd when he asked if I had recently taken any deca or test. Been on 400mg cyp/wk for about 2 months. Kinda stupid to think he wouldn't have caught this. Are these numbers obvious to steroid use? Thanks guys...just signed up for this board!

Most AAS will increase RBC. It's a pretty good give away that one is using them when the levels are elevated. It can be caused by other things, but when a muscular person walks in that's what's on the test the doc will usually get suspicious.

make a list of supplements and claim thats what must have done it
include AIFM and confuse the hell out of him
if you create doubt and admit nothing you win
because some docs are not cool with it and insurance carriers will use anything to not pay

Anybody know a decent physician in the LA area. This guy didn't like the idea of me using steroids. I would like to find a doc that understands and will help rather than make me nervous.

Back when I did coke and smoked alot of weed I was always honest with my doc about it. She told me insurance could not deny coverage based on "lifestyle choices". Now life insurance can but not health.

LOL....

I go to a doc that knows the deal… Honestly, anyone with half a mind can look at me and know that something is up??? What’s funny is when I run into people I have not seen in several years… Most of my life (over 30 years) I had never weighed above 150.. I left college at around 135…. Now I sit around 210 – 215 mid 5s in bf (5.8% on the 12th)..
People know the deal…. But rarely am I asked! If I do get asked I thank them for the compliment and leave it at that... unless they are an ass about it!!

My 2.5ml,

good to know

My buddy went recently and his doc said something right when he took his shirt off for a regular physical. She asked and he admited. But she did not care. I don't think most do care.... they probably see it often

When the doc I"m using now did my first blood work they were a couple of things a little off and he says that it would be normal for someone like me. He knows that I use gear but I didn"t have to tell him.

my doc knows cuz he orders the bloodwork. Its the ppl at quest diagnostics that wonder why i frequent them so much. I just tell them its cuz i am a amatuer mma fighter and my doc wants to make sure i am in tip top shape :verygood:

Doc wants me to get blood tested again in 3 months. How many weeks should I be off to expect normal RBC levels etc. Recommend any PCT to get things within normal range quickly. Currently cyp 400mg/wk.

RBCs can stay elevated for up to 3 months after all AAS clears your system so my guess is your values will still be somewhat elevated at that time

I had my test level checked 5 days into a d-bol cycle and my test levels came up low. The doc came into the room and said there was something wrong with my test levels. I thought "oh shit" he knows I'm juicing. My jaw dropped when he said it came back LOW! I guess the dbol didn't have enough time to build up in my bloodstream. I know the dbols were legit because I made huge gains on it.

I always am confused when I see people getting blood work done while on???? Unless you are having an issue (like jaundice) why would you get a blood test.

dude please tell me you are kidding with this post. if not, then you have absolutely no business using steroids.

i get tested once a month cause im on accutane right now but if i wasnt id wait till my cycle was finished

if i'm questioned about my recent bloodwork, i suppose i would go the DHEA, tribulus, aifm, and cortisol blocker route.

"what is test?"

Totally not true bro, most if not all insurance companies will drop you like a rock if they have any knowldege at all of the use of "illegal substances" and you will not liekly get reinsured from any other company either. They want to protect their own interests and insuring someone using illegal drugs is like a auto insurer offering insurance to a multiple DUI arestee, it dont happen...

This may be true if you are covered under an individual policy, but group health coverage by law cannot deny insurance to for any reason including pre-existing conditions (asthma, diabetes, etc.) So if you are covered by a group policy, then all is well... if not you're screwed.

Sorry, but you are wrong on this one bro. I own a drug testing company and I have never heard of a person losing their health ins due to a positive. Plus I asked my Dr. and she showed me the state reg! Think about it....no one would have ins if that were true! Plus, the #1 thing the ins would like to deny coverage for is tobacco use. By far the thing which raises health care costs the most!

I just read someone else mentioning in another thread about insurance companies denying future claims based on, dont forget heres the big kicker that gets them outta it, "illegal" drug use.

I know someone that was kicked from their insurance with similar circumstances. I'm sure they can and will do whatever it takes to cover their own fanny.

I was on AAS for a couple of years straight, and this past March, I had a CBC test done when I was sick, and my hct reading came out to 47.2%. At the time, I was on 1,000mg/wk of Test propionate and 100-150mg/d of Anadrol.

Hgb was 14.8g/dl
RBC was 5.23 x 10*6/cumm

as long as your physician is educated on steroids and knows you are being safe with useage you should have no problem

this just sounds funny to me. like a false sense of security.
