gh fuggin read this.
admit you hold him to a higher standard than you would someone else.
if your beloved Nagin or Blanco admitted to a drug addiction you would be willing to give them another chance in life. were you this pissy with ted or patrick kennedy? i really doubt it.
i like you bor but arguing with you is like arguing with a rock. you got to bend a little bor, or else what is the point of debating?

WTF???

I don't give a shit about Nagin or Blanco but the people who were displaced...

Not just initially. He was always buying the drugs with a prescritpion. He never stopped.

The actual case they tried to make against him, and which the prosecutor was forced to acknowledge he had not one shred of evidence of, was that he was getting multiple prescriptions for the pain killers.

Of cource , because when you bribe a pharmacist , there is no prescription...

When you buy crack is there a prescription for crack in your medical record?

No one is disputing that he had the surgery for chronic back problems, which apparently are very painful. Or that the surgery was unsuccessful.

He and his doctors deemed that further surgery would be more risky than beneficial.

Frankly I fail to see any similarity between his case and that of a typical drug addict. Nor would any of the ones whining on this thread were the person involved anyone but Rush Limbaugh.

In fact if it was any one of your parents or siblings they would be making the case I am now. Calling someone in chronic pain a drug addict, the same as a crak or heroine user, for taking pain meds is inane.

LOL I had a boss who had a spinal fusion which was his 5th surgery and had a mororphine drip... He had scripts for his drugs every time. There was no need to circument the system to feed a habit. Pain is pain and a problem is a problem. The doctor stopped his prescriptions and he couldn't stop doing pills....

If he had a prescription then the Florida Police would have had no reason to search (with a warrant) his house and take his medical records

Bro

Unlike most libs I actually like you. You seem like a good guy.

He had prescriptions. That has never been in dispute. The allegation was that he was doctor shopping to gain multiple prescriptions. That is why his medical records were seized. That is the case prosecutors were pursuing.

It was while suing to force his doctors to submit to questioning, in violation of his Constitutional rights, that the prosecutors were forced to admit in court that they had not a shred of evidence to substantiate that charge. It is why the judge dismissed the prosecutors request and called it "fishing"

Bro

Read the case

And to respond to your comment to dullboy

If it were anyone else there isn't a prosecutor in the country, with no evidence or credible testimony whatsoever, who would have pursued a case. Never mind spent years and reams of tax payer dollars.

This asswipe should be disbarred for his attempt at personal aggrandizement.
