Do you think the space program (NASA) should stop?

I for one cannot see funding billions of dollars a year to see if there is anything useful in space. I think the Government continues to fund it to create and provide jobs.. NASA has the 2nd highest budget other than the military and for what... A waste of time if you ask me...

Look at the last hundred years' development.

We need to divert more money into NASA.

People in general don't want to think about the future -- they only care about themselves in the here and now. Hence, most people won't understand why something like a space program benefits mankind.

How has it benefited the human race other than providing jobs? Have they discovered anything that is useful? What do you think lies ahead in the space program and how do you think it will benefit mankind?

there are so many common tools and applications we use today that were first developed for for and by the space program.

so yeah, keep funding them.

Hell no.

Very important to keep pushing forward IMO. Even if it were only jobs that it was creating during our generations, that's benefit enough for me -keeps the economy moving and strong - but that's a short sighted view.

As others have pointed out - the benefits for man kind and our country many many generations later are yet to be proven but are certainly there. Just like any scientific research.

having sex in space would be weird as fuck where do i sign up .....
