Do you think having children add years to your life or takes years away?

I hope that mine will extend my life. I don't live the way I used to before her and the road I was going down is a short one. I was basically married for 12 years and I don't think I hugged anyone as much (while smiling) as I have my daughter in the last 2+ years. Being happy makes you live longer and shit.

I can only speak from having two young kids 2 and 7 weeks, my oldest was born while I was serving in Afghanistan so that really have me motivation to get home safe and as far as my 7 week old, I'll say my grey hairs have doubled. I don't think it adds or subtracts years but the constant worrying def adds stress. Joys of being a dad I guess.

Takes away. I see people my age who are parents or even grandparents, and they seem so much "older".

Or I could just be immature...
