Do you tell other people about your EF microcosm?

Yeah I pretty much don't admit it exists either... I do refer to a training board - but I belong to a couple of those... I would say someone emailed me, or if a meet up say some dudes I know from the training board or school in the past...

I do think of the people on EF as their handles during the day ("Oh shit, sorearms would get a kick out of this") and one time I saw a guy named Perkele from Finland write into dave letterman... but otherwise EF and RL have nothing to do with each other...

I don't think I would admit to hanging out with a bunch of weirdos/psychos/transsexuals/sexual deviants etc....

Not even my boyfriend knows I visit EF. I wouldn't want him to see some of the stuff I've posted here. Once I was talking to BBF on the phone while my boyfriend was in the car with me. He asked me where BBF was located and how I knew him. I didn't want to say he was in Texas because then he'd wonder how the hell I know him. I also didn't want to say oh he's some sex crazed dude from the internet. So instead I changed the subject.

You've called me a couple times when I had girls around, I just say, "Oh she is a friend of mine who I met on the bodybuilding board I post on." They don't seem to mind. WHo cares? I'm a pretty honesty and straightforward guy though.

Well that day it wasn't just him and I in the car. We were driving back from Ohio with two other guys after diving. I'm sure you could hear them in the background. They would think it was beyond weird that I was talking to someone I have never seen face to face. They don't even own computers. Have used the WWW a handful of times in their lives and probably think everyone online is some sort of psycho. My boyfriend wouldn't say anything negative about it. His friends would. I don't think they even know that him and I met online.

My friends all know I use an internet fitness board and that I have met people on it. With the exception of the last meetup, my non-EF friends have always been with me when I've met people from EF..
