Do you STAB or SLIDE

A load of stabbers on here!!.

I always get a few drops of juice on the needle (lubricant), put ithe needle on the skin, and gently slide it in. Once past the skin, the small peircing pain is gone, then you can take your time pushing it in deep.

I've never had issues this way, and i find that control and slow injections are the most painless.

Stryker1992.......... Fuck me, i spat coffee all over my computer when i read that!!!!! If only they made waterproof PC's

I put the needle right on the skin, then add force until the initial pop. Then I just slide it all the way in. Easy as pie.

I read that when you're injecting you're supposed to hold the needle like a dart and with one swift motion insert the needle. Seems kinda risky. I'm afraid of goin too deep or hitting something I shouldn't be hitting.

When I inject I kinda insert slowly and I use a 1.5" needle.

How do you inject?
Stab to break through skin, then slide it in.

Make sure you draw and inject with separate pins, 18g to draw, 23g to inject. Drawing with the same pin dulls it. Slide it in all the way (1-1/2" for glutes, 1" for quads), aspirate and inject slowly. Make sure you swab the injection spot first as well as the tops of the vials before drawing. It only takes one abscess to make you very careful from that point on.

Thats the way i do it best way for me :)

I go slow because the times I've been going fast and hit a nerve it makes the whole muscle jump and spasm... which is rather unsettling!! when I go slow I can usually start to feel it twitch a bit if I'm beginning to hit a nerve an I can just back it about a quarter inch out redirect it a hair and continue with my jab rather easy!!
