Do you STAB or SLIDE

I read that when you're injecting you're supposed to hold the needle like a dart and with one swift motion insert the needle. Seems kinda risky. I'm afraid of goin too deep or hitting something I shouldn't be hitting.

When I inject I kinda insert slowly and I use a 1.5" needle.

How do you inject?

I hold the needle to the skin surface and firmly but somewhat slowly administer the the stick, then once ib all the way I pull back on the plunger a little to make sure no blood enters the syringe. If bubbles appear it's safe to inject, if blood has entered the syringe pull it out and stick in a different spot repeat this until you get those bubbles, then you know it's safe.

That is the only safe way to stick!!

Good luck Bro! and is this your first inject?

after i was done injecting today, i looked at the empty needle cause something caught my eye, and there was a perfect little football shaped red little cell, maybe a fat cell or something i sucked in while aspirating...weird....

No, I'm practically a veteran. Four cycles under my belt but lately every time I go to stick a new spot I just about jump outta the chair cause I'm hitting a nerve or something. I think I lost my touch.

Yeah that is weird. Iv'e never got the blood before though, must be luck!!!

Man whatever you feel like doing isn't going to be wrong, as long as you get the needle into the muscle. Trust yourself and where you are injecting and you should be fine.

I get that sometimes too. Could just be scar tissue too man that needs a break...no pun intended! lol!

Slide, slide slippity slide....

I think I'll stick with slide. I just can't bring myself to stab that needle into me.

I call it a forceful slide.....I actually push the smallest amount of gear on the needle so there are a few beads of gear. It coats the needle and helps it slide in...I keep it a half inch away and give it a quick start and push it in.

slide that shit, there is no way i could just jab it in there. i would be too afraid of missing the spot i want to inject in. i use a 1.5" but dont stick it all the way in just in case the needle breaks off

A load of stabbers on here!!.

I always get a few drops of juice on the needle (lubricant), put ithe needle on the skin, and gently slide it in. Once past the skin, the small peircing pain is gone, then you can take your time pushing it in deep.

I've never had issues this way, and i find that control and slow injections are the most painless.

Stryker1992.......... Fuck me, i spat coffee all over my computer when i read that!!!!! If only they made waterproof PC's

I put the needle right on the skin, then add force until the initial pop. Then I just slide it all the way in. Easy as pie.

Stab to break through skin, then slide it in.

Make sure you draw and inject with separate pins, 18g to draw, 23g to inject. Drawing with the same pin dulls it. Slide it in all the way (1-1/2" for glutes, 1" for quads), aspirate and inject slowly. Make sure you swab the injection spot first as well as the tops of the vials before drawing. It only takes one abscess to make you very careful from that point on.

Thats the way i do it best way for me :)

I go slow because the times I've been going fast and hit a nerve it makes the whole muscle jump and spasm... which is rather unsettling!! when I go slow I can usually start to feel it twitch a bit if I'm beginning to hit a nerve an I can just back it about a quarter inch out redirect it a hair and continue with my jab rather easy!!
