Do you prefer the strength or to be enormous?

Strength - Nothing more satisfying than out lifting someone that out weighs you.

But like OXANDRIN says: a stronger muscle = a bigger muscle, so they go hand in hand.

as long i can lift more stuff with one arm than the majority of the population can with their whole body i am fine.

i lift for mass. i am weaker than i look. 17 1/2 arms and i can barely single arm curl 60lbs in good form (oddly, i can arm curl 135 in moderately bad form for reps with one arm. but that aggravates my hernia. no fucking thanks).
 
I see that the majority of you prefer TO APPEAR THAN TO BE.If BB is a sport ,the muscles should be a consequence of strength and power ,also if not always is so. Weigth lifters are,generally,the more power with functional muscles,but a lot of them are not enormous and cut in the BB sense.But if BB is a sport you cannot say"I don't care the strength",the strength is the means to train stronger for mass.Furthermore,to know becoming stronger tell you 3 things:
1) you are healtly
2) your training is right
3) your recovery is enough
The matter is correlated with the steroids abuse because the strength does not need to stay on them so often and requires substances that don't cause water ritention (oxandrolone,stanozolo etc.).The real iron lover want to be stronger and, arrived at his natural limits,choose,if necessary for short and infrequent blitz cycle, steroids that help to get over these limits.After he let some high volume training to pump him .
This if BB is a sport.
 
I just want mother fuckers to get out of the way when i walk down the street.

And i got a buddy who is 6'5" 290 and is a bouncer at one of the local titty bars, and he gets more pussy in one week than most people do in their entire life, and he has no cuts just a big mother fucker.
 
Well to each there own....I want to be massive and ripped, and for guys who want to look like models thats great to. One is not better than the other both require hard work+discipline....although it takes MORE hard work to be massive...but thats just my opinion.
 
Bury me massive! Seriously though, if given the choice I would rather have size and symmetry over raw strength. Not that banging out some serious poundage at the gym doesn't give me some satisfaction - but that only lasts as long as I am in the gym. Having a strong athletic physique makes me feel good all day long every day.
 
I'm more for the strength aspect because the physique is easier to maintain and improve the stronger you are. Plus throwing around more wieght than...well everyone else at my gym has benefits!

As for showing what we have, that's what its all about. Hell, my metabolism is so jacked when I hit the bar scene or just walk around that anything else is too uncomfortable to wear.
