I find these days most companies don't even check things like asking for confirmation of education and you can give references that have nothing to do with past jobs for the most part or have people lie for you.
I'm wondering to what extent you can bullshit on a resume and then just learn really fast at whatever job you are given. I know I have lied about my university major before to suit whatever job I was applying for - but I got my degree ten years ago so checking would be a waste of time.
Anyone ever get their foot in the door or land a sweet job they technically weren't qualified for by lying or "changing" their resume to suit a job better?
