LOL you are on top form today! that breakfast of coffee and dbol certainly worked!

M.O.D., I deffinately hear you on this one. It use to bother the shit out of me, not being able to go to the grocery store for milk with out being stared at. Or people and their slightly audible steroid comments in passing,(bunch of pussies, if ya got something to say, then say it to me!). Just the feeling of always being stared at and judged as a freak. Although now it hardly ever bothers me too much, because a girlfriend of mine explained to me that it was just that these people who make these comments are just incredibly insecure people. And I have to agree with her. Although not all people share the same shitty sentiment that these assholes do. I'm sure that you have also recieved possitive a lot of possitive comments from strangers as well, but I like most tend to dwell on the assholes. Also it is our choice and goal to become this size and to obtain what is popularly considered the "freaky look". So we have to just accept that we are not accepted by the mainstream view. In short, Fuck 'em!

Aleinated, fuck yeah. The bigger I get - I'm not that big but built like a granite statue - the more people start to "wonder" and judge me. I'm in management at a large organization - all the other fucking managers are either fat and/or dieing of stress related problems (ulcers/colon shit/etc) - what a joke. Our director is obese, the upper manager is permanenly on crack or something and pretty much lives there (ultra hyper type).

M.O.D. I think that one of the reasons that people talk about you, and often stare may be because you are pushing 40, yet have a body that looks like a 25 year old linebacker, it could be envy from people to lazy to put the long hours in the gym that you have and continue to do. I don't know you but I'm willing to bet that you look and feel years younger than those people that you went to school with. I say do your own thing and more power to you, I know how you feel as I have a few years on you.

I studied this martial art where we learned to stealth and hide in shadows (invisibility stuff). One of our instructors was a cop and told us that when on patrol he noticed something in a dark park and stopped his car to watch for a minute. Just about the time he was ready to leave a guy jumped up and started running. The cop chased the guy and caught him.

The cop asked him why he ran and the guy said that he was sure the cop could see him, and the more he thought about it the more paranoid he became, so he ran.

Some people see a big guy and say, "steroids" sure, but others think, "man he's big, I should join a gym."

You just can't know what people are thinking.

Let's not forget what it was like to not be large and looking good - no matter how long it has been. People stare, make assumptions and ridicule because they are intimidated, conciously or subconciously. Not only intimidated by physical size and appearance but because of the dedication and sacrifice made on a daily basis to achieve that physical appearance. Most people want great physiques and on some level they resent the fact that they could have those physiques, just like us - but they lack the self discipline to achieve and maintain it. We are constant reminders to many, of their inadequecies and failures in self-discipline.

That was VERY well said gzeus69. I do and I don't like it when people stare. On one hand I take it as a compliment, but on the other hand, it would be nice to be able to walk in to Wal-Mart or any place and not have all eyes on me. It makes me feel a little uncomfortable. But then they realize that if they stare too long, at least they know I can kick there out of shape face in.....and then they turn away.
