I've caught them making mistakes several times. Sometimes even the computer screws up and adds wrong. Tonight I took my receipt back in to get a refund for something that I was charged for but didn't buy. The store manager acknowledged the mistake and told the cashier to give me a refund. Then the cashier accidently shorted me on the change from the purchase I had just made.

always read it...come home, put groceries away, take a dump and check the receipt.

i add as i go, and am usually within a dollar or 2 by the time i get the the chceckout. if they accidentally rip me off, it would have to be by quite a bit...and unless it IS quite a bit...i dont care

Run a total of the things i buy in my head..so about within the price +- $2 before taxes...always someone trying to rip you off

Yes, I do and I count my change too. People make mistakes and amazingly 99% of those mistakes they giving me less money than more.

oh dear god, i hat shopping with need2....he has to be the one to put every thing on the counter and he adds while he is doing it...talk about standing in line behind a old lady!!!!!!!

I order my groceries online. The prices are always accurate. To be honest, its such a convenience that if it was a dollar or 2 more I don't think I would complain.

I always check my receipt - always!! One store here will give you the item free + a 10% off coupon for your next shopping trip if it rings up wrong. Another store does alot of 2 for $4 etc so you get the 1 thing for free & the diff back on the other one.

yeap, I check the receipt as I go to my car, so if there is mistake, I dont have to drive back there
