I know most know this but dont use them... I know of 4 acounts shut down last week.. Somthing not right.... Just a heads up for anyone still using them.....

i know you have to use it a certain amount of times within a given period and if you dont it will cancell your account?
Yeah i know.. Thats not what it is they have received letters back from hushmail saying that there acounts where deleted...........

As of this month I have been contacted by 20 people who had there hushmail accounts shut down for "e-legal activity" and every single one of them had ties to a source that has been speculated to have been busted.

How can you be sure?
You cant trust any of them... Hushmail worked with le in the past and who is to say others would not. How do they know anything unless they or scanning keywords and then reading the email......... They have back doors into everything... just somthing to think about...... BE SAFE!
they say they will not cooperate with LE or private parties and have servers in countries where the government doesnt care
They all use the Hushmail engine so same company.
Basically if a source is busted or gives access to their accounts and there are mails from individuals or they are in an address book then it can be assumed illegal activity which Hushmail will shut.
